We invite you to join us for our third annual Earth Day celebration, where our community of B Corporations comes together to do a day of service and better our local community.
This year we are partnering with the California Native Plant Society to learn about our local habitat and work in-field at their wildlife reserve in the Sepulveda Basin. The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit working to protect California’s native plants and their habitats. Why? Because when you save the plants, you save everything else. Our native plants form the foundation of our ecosystems on which wildlife, pollinators, and we depend. What’s more, California is truly special — home to more native plants than any other state in the country and part of one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots.
Join us for a picnic lunch in the wildlife reserve after our time in-field. Water will be generously provided by Burnham Benefits.
ATTIRE: Please be sure to wear long-sleeves, pants, a hat and suncreen.Gloves will be generously donated by Ma Cher.
Parking instructions will be emailed out to attendees the week prior to the event.
