4th Annual B Local LA Earth Day – Coastal Clean Up & Plastic Pollution Project

Join us to celebrate our 4th Annual Earth Day together!

This collaborative Trashblitz event, powered in partnership with 5 Gyres, Surfrider, and a broad spectrum of NGOs, is a project working to keep our environment pristine, and discover LA’s true plastic footprint!
With state of the art data collection software, TrashBlitz L.A. will identify how much plastic is in our streets and rivers, and pinpoint the top polluting single-use plastic items, brands and hotspots in our neighborhoods.
Come join us on April 20th as we work side by side with environmental leaders in the communities around the L.A. River watershed. The data collected from our contribution will help support local and statewide mitigation strategies with the ultimate goal of preventing single-use plastics from entering the ocean.
Participants are welcomed to join the Solutions Roundtable on May30th  to help determine the best ways to tackle the issue moving forward.

We’ll be meeting up at Belmont Pier at the lot at the end of Termino Ave and Ocean.  Gloves and clean up bags will be provided.
